The fact that beauty is still qualified by skin color resonates deeply with me because I was taunted for being dark-skinned throughout childhood. Gone are the days where I wish for blonde hair or the bluest eyes to believe that I am beautiful or that others believe I am beautiful; I love my brown skin. I've reconciled this personal insecurity and I am committed to doing my part as a strong, independent, full figured woman to never hold my head down anymore. As a confident woman with a unique flavor, flair of style and one who loves cosmetic products; I have a desire to always project my best and do my part to empower Black women to look and feel beautiful I believe if you have access to people who can educate you, inspire you, and provide guidance this should spark something within you - inspire you or motivate you as well.
